The Balance Brew Way

"Making a positive impact for the next generation of clinicians, researchers, trusted community users, partners and associates through the elevation of ethical based; performance based and evidence based healing."

When asked why she created Balance Brew, founder Carol Goh’s response is simple - to empower everyone to be the healthiest version of themselves so they can do everything they are meant to do.

Combining centuries-old knowledge of the healing properties of natural herbs and modern technology, Balance Brew aims to redefine how we perceive and consume traditional Chinese medicine.

Together with a strong network of physicians and industry leaders, Balance Brew’s dedication to the craft and strong belief in the transformative potential of natural remedies stands out in their quest to build a legacy of building a sustainable traditional Chinese medicine business for generations to come.

Quality Markers

At Balance Brew, we pride ourselves on maintaining the highest standards of quality in all our products.

1. HSA & SFA Approved

HSA approved may refer to a product that has met the requirements of the Health Science Authority’s (HSA) criteria for quality, safety and efficacy. Besides strict regulations surrounding ingredients and vitamin or mineral limits, product labels and claims are also subjected to approval by HSA.

The Singapore Food Agency or SFA performs the same checks and balances on food safety and standards which also applies to products at Balance Brew.

All Balance Brew brews that have been HSA and/or SFA approved will be indicated accordingly.

2. Tested for heavy metals

Testing for heavy metals is an important part of the food safety process as the presence of such metals can be damaging to human health and can accumulate in the food chain.

Balance Brew regularly and systematically tests all natural herbs and ingredients used in the products for traces of heavy metals like arsenic, cadmium, lead and mercury.

3. Tested for microbials

Microbials include yeast and mould, including harmful bacteria such as salmonella or E.coli that can potentially cause health complications. It is important to test for the presence of such bacteria to prevent traces from contaminating the product.
